Program Overview

A 1.5-year CV program under SCS Robotics Institute. Summer internship is mandatory but can be substituted with on-campus summer research.

Admission Preferences

Strong emphasis on being a good match. Prefers candidates with top CV conference publications, CV research experience, or CV internship/work experience. Candidates without a CV background need very high metrics.

Most students are from mainland China undergrad / Hong Kong-Taiwan undergrad and India. Mainland China admits come from a wide range of schools. Indian students almost all have around two years of work experience.

Job Outcomes & Data Points

For internships, most people go for MLE intern roles, covering hot industrial areas such as autonomous driving, 3D Vision, LLM/VLM, etc.

Job landing rate is 91%. Companies include DeepMind, Adobe, TikTok, Meta, Amazon, and more. The rest went on to pursue PhDs.
